Rodolfus performed a varied programme from Tallis to Whitacre in an atmospheric riverside venue in Twickenham for the Richmond Concert Society on Tuesday 10 February to a rapturous response. Here are some of the comments from audience and promotors alike:
“Just a short note to say what a wonderful and inspiring concert you gave on Tuesday evening. The vibes I and others felt as the audience left into the cold night were most positive. Clearly the Rodolfus will need to be a RCS fixture in the future!”
“As always many thanks for making Tallis in the setting of St Mary's Church, Twickenham sound so wonderful.”
“Just to say thankyou for a wonderful evening. I don't think I've ever seen so many smiles on so many faces as [the audience] left the church on Tues night. Many people commented upon the fact that it was spiritually uplifting and one lady was on the verge of tears with the emotion she felt. What a talented hard-working group of young people!”
“Since your concert in Richmond I have repeatedly met people around the town who have felt the need to stop me and say how much they enjoyed your music last week. It clearly was another outstanding success and we would like to pass on our thanks to you and the choir.” (Bill Cook, Chairman RCS)
