Choral Evensong at Westminster Abbey
The Rodolfus Choir visitied Westminster Abbey on Tuesday 25 June to sing Choral Evensong. Directed by Ralph Allwood, the large choir numbered almost 50 singers; allowing for a wonderful, rich sonority in the Magnificat by Giles Swayne, the Nunc dimittis by Gustav Holst, and Bainton’s ‘And I saw a new Heaven’.
30th Anniversary
2013 is the 30th Anniversary of the Rodolfus Choir. The much anticipated of release of our latest recording will now be November 2013 (moved from the original date of summer 2013). This disk of music by Paul Mealor and Benjamin Britten includes a major new piece by Paul Mealor, specially written for the choir.
Handel in The City
