Hearing the Choir

How often does the choir perform?

As the choir draws on its singers from many wide and varied places and educational backgrounds it generally only meets in holidays (Christmas, Easter and Summer), and sometimes in half-terms. There are usually concerts, tours and/or recordings in each holiday.

 

Where do the choir perform?

The Rodolfus Choir are very lucky to be invited to perform in many music festivals in the UK and abroad. The choir also promotes its own concerts, often in Eton College Chapel or in Douai Abbey, Berkshire but also further afield.

 

Is there a choir mailing list?

There is. Just type your email address in the newsletter box on the right-hand menu, select subscribe and click on the button. We will send you the latest information about forthcoming concerts and CD releases straight to your inbox.

Will will not share your email address with any third parties.

 

Joining the Choir

How do I join the Rodolfus Choir?

Entry to the choir is only available to those who have attended an Eton Choral Course. These take place each summer. Space permitting, the most promising singers on the course will be invited to join the Choir. The maximum age for singers in the Rodolfus Choir is twenty-five.

 

Can I be involved without being a performer?

The Online CD Shop

How do I place an order?

You can search for products by typing a keyword into the bar at the  top of the screen: this will take you straight to the product page. Alternatively, you can browse through all our products by selecting CD SHOP from the menu where you can organise them by price, date or name. To get more information about a product, simply click on the title listing to reveal a cover image, description, reviews and, where relevant, sample audio tracks.

You can add products to your shopping cart by selecting the Add to Cart buttons. You can add or delete the number of copies of a product you wish to buy by clicking on the shopping cart and using the buttons on the right. Once you have finished shopping, select Checkout.

 

I've placed an order. How do I login to the site?

If you have placed an order with us before, you will have been sent a username and password when you first registered – you should use this now to login as it will save you having to reenter all your delivery details (we do not store your credit card information, however). If you can’t remember your login details, it’s best to look for the original email. If you can’t find it, click the Login button on the top menu and select Lost Password.

If you enter your username and email address (which by default WILL BE THE SAME) you will be sent a new password. We recommend that you login with this and then immediately go to My Account and change it something more memorable.

 

How do I register my details?

If this is the first time that you’ve placed an order with us, you will need to add your billing and shipping information. Once you have completed the form and agreed to the terms and conditions, you will be sent a username and password to the email address that you entered. Use these to login and you will be taken to the shipping address area. You can either ship to the default address (which is the same as the billing address) or add alternative destinations. Please ensure that the country is correct as the postage fee we calculate depends on this. (NB If you are ordering downloadable products only, it is still necessary to go through this stage, but you will not be billed for any shipping charges and nothing will be sent to your address.)

There may be a few alternative shipping options, so select the one that suits you most and proceed to order confirmation.

 

Can I pay with Paypal?

Once you’ve confirmed your order you’ll be taken a Paypal payment page. If you don’t have a Paypal account, there is no need to register – simply opt to add your card details in directly (please note that this uses the strongest commercially available level of encryption: you should see a solid padlock in your browser status bar, which indicates that the encryption is taking place). Once you have successfully completed this you will be returned to the main site where you can view the status of your order with the My Account area (which can be found on the right menu).

 

When will my order be despatched?

All postal orders will be confirmed and despatched within a 14 days and you will receive an email confirmation once this is complete.

 

How do I check my order details?

If you want to check the staus of your orders, view old transactions, change your login details or billing address, select Login from the top menu, and enter your user details. If you then select My Account from the menu on the right, you can keep your details up-to-date.

 

What is your returns policy?

If for any reason you decide you want the product(s) you have ordered please contact us through the website. If we receive this notification before the product(s) have been despatched, we will refund your payment in full. If we have already despatched the product(s) we will refund your payment (minus our delivery expenses) you have returned them to us.
